"The Leisure Bowl offers a personal training service, enabling our customers to take a direct route to fitness"

A personal program is a 'one to one session' with a gym instructor .  It is designed to create an effective & enjoyable regime, where the client is able to obtain the maximum benefits which they desire, in a safe & controlled manner.

 Firstly the instructor will discuss the individual needs and wants of the client, for example:

  • Training for a specific sport
  • Weight loss
  • Toning individual muscle groups or the whole body
  • Strength
  • Endurance
  • Stamina
  • General Fitness

The next stage is to develop a suitable weight training program, where many issues are decided for example:

  •  Method of training
  • Excercises to be used
  • Teach correct techniques
  • Warm up and cool down procedures


After the programme is designed, the instructor will set the duration for the program and the client is welcome at any time to discuss alterations needed with the instructor free of charge.  Progress can be assesed usually after a 12 week period depending upon client progress.
